Elviria is a high standing urbanization, although it is a small area of the Costa del Sol. Elviria belongs to the municipality of Marbella, it is located about fifteen minutes by car towards Malaga from the center of the city.

It is a coastal urbanization, which offers a large number of luxury villas and new development houses. It's a very popular place among tourists. In recent years the demand for buy houses in this area has grow notably. Some of the reasons is for the security and relax. Its large community of foreigners choose Elviria as an area to buy a second home or even to live and change their lifestyle, Another reason why it is a highly demanded place is because it offers a variety of entertainment depending on each taste, from magnificent beaches to areas of greenery, to enjoy nature and tranquility.

Elviria is one of the best located areas as it is a ten minute drive from the center of Marbella, but although it is close to many amenities and services, it is advisable to have your own car. The area is surrounded by native vegetation such as pines and cork oaks. The whole area of Elviria is surrounded by the natural reserve of La Sierra de las Nieves. From the wonderful hillside villas you can enjoy the marvelous views of the Sierra Nevada, the Rock of Gibraltar and the Mediterranean Sea. Even on the clearest days you can see the African coast.

The population of Elviria is low due to its size, even so, the change is noticeable in the summer season. The inhabitants are unevenly distributed throughout the area. Unlike other areas of the Costa del Sol, Elviria has more Spanish population than foreigners, even so, as I mentioned before, in summer there are many foreign citizens who have second homes and enjoy them in the summer months.

The climate is one of the favorite factors for visitors so, being a subtropical Mediterranean climate, summers are hot and winters tend to be warm with very low rainfall, due to the proximity of the sea the cool breeze blows slightly through the area helping to maintain a favorable and pleasant temperature. Being a more touristy area in summer life in Elviria stands out for being a relatively quiet area, but with options to enjoy the various entertainments. The beach of Elviria is well maintained and tends to be quieter and less crowded than other areas of the Costa del Sol. Enjoying the spectacular colors of the sunrise or sunset is one of the fundamental things you should do. If you want to be quiet with your family, this beach is highly recommended since it is not usually deep and children can have fun without danger. Among the options in the surroundings is the shopping center with supermarket, stores and restaurants, a few kilometers away is a sports center ideal for young people and for all ages in which you can enjoy various options including soccer and basketball courts, tennis academies to learn or practice this sport. If your hobby is golf you can enjoy magnificent golf courses with wonderful views. Another of the outstanding options in this area is the Nikki Beach, a beach club with a huge pool that during the summer months is one of the main attractions to enjoy the party and which is attended by guests from all over the world.
